Optimising processes according to the Lean Six Sigma method is something we at Perfact are becoming increasingly familiar with. That is why, since February 1st, Frank van Laarhoven has joined the team as Black Belt specialist. We would like to introduce him to you in more detail:
Frank has joined the ‘Perfact family’ as Project Lead Continuous improvement (Black Belt). He immediately started as a Lean Six Sigma specialist at our client Thomas Regout International in Maastricht. Here, he is working on a Lean project in which an optimisation plan must be in place before the summer for intermediate stocks, which has a floor area of almost 700 m2. A great challenge.
“With great enthusiasm and also a warm welcome, I started at Perfact. I will not only work on improvement projects for our clients, but will also provide Lean Six Sigma training within the Perfact Academy. A nice variety”, according to Frank.
During the past 11 years, Frank has gained experience in various sectors and has worked at beautiful leading organisations, such as VDL Nedcar, Tata Steel and Haan Projects. Here he delivered many technical projects. During his career, Frank became acquainted with the Lean Six Sigma methodology. “Out of my own interest, I followed training courses up to Black Belt level,” says Frank. The extensive experience in project management combined with Lean Six Sigma methodology fits Perfact’s consultancy strategy perfectly.
“In my spare time, I enjoy sports and barbecuing with friends. We also like to travel, preferably as far as possible, whereby traveling to Australia will be planned again due to Corona. With the time I have left, I like to go to my garage to hobby and weld fun projects like coffee tables, hanging lamps, fitness equipment and much more.
I have enjoyed working for one of our clients for a while now and have been able to give interesting training courses, such as 8D training (a problem-solving method) and Lean Six Sigma training. The coming period, more fun projects are planned and I am glad that I can contribute to this”, Frank concludes. It almost sounds Perfact!
