Perfact employs more than 180 colleagues. They do work at different clients in various sectors. Also Chafik Saaid, 43 years old and Turnaround Planner at Ineos in Dormagen (Germany).
With this column, we will introduce you to him through some questions
1. How did you actually come into contact with Perfact?
My colleague Johannes Brotsmann, who already worked at Perfact, recommended Perfact to me.
2. You are currently Turnaround Planner, this is probably not known to everyone. How would you describe your position to your grandmother?
If you want to renovate a house, you can do everything yourself, such as: Heating, plumbing and air conditioning, electricity, etc., or you can sit back and leave every task to the right professional and save time and money.
In the industry, I am the specialist responsible for renovation and modification work on systems. I create the workflow descriptions, plan the inspection, maintenance and repair work for the chemical companies that need to maintain their large plants.
3. What do you like about working at Perfact? And why?
At Perfact, I get the chance to actively use my professional skills and bring out my strengths. Collaborating with other teams and companies always gives insight into new topics and areas of work, in this way you learn a lot.
4. Do you have any dreams for the (near) future?
I want to learn more and become more successful so that I can even grow more into an expert in my field. Eventually I would like to hold a managerial position in order to enjoy even more privileges. It is nice that Perfact supports me in this.
5. Where would you like to go on holiday? And why?
To Dubai. It looks like a fascinating metropolis combined with the fairy tale of 1001 nights. Dubai is the new emerging world metropolis with unique sights, a touch of luxury, the Orient and beaches. In Dubai, everything is bigger, taller and more modern. I think it is definitely worth a trip!
6. What is the best thing that happened to you last week?
I got some really great news, as we found out we are having another baby!
